Name: Characidium fasciatum "Platinum"(Darter Tetra)
Characidium fasciatum is a charming darter tetra commonly seen in the aquarium hobby, but the Platinum variant is exceptionally rare.
These fascinating little fish are generally slow-moving and peaceful. While they may occasionally prey on shrimplets if the opportunity arises, they do not actively hunt them.
With their unique behaviour, striking platinum appearance, and laid-back nature, they’re a lovely and unusual addition to a planted community aquarium — especially for collectors looking for something a little different.
