Plants give shrimp and small fish shelter, grazing surfaces and more stable water. Our selection focuses on slow-growing, low-maintenance plants that suit shrimp tanks, including Anubias, Bucephalandra, Java fern (Leptochilus pteropus), Echinodorus 'Iguazu' and Marimo moss balls. Most of them do not need CO₂, and epiphytes such as Anubias, Buce and Java fern can be tied to rock or wood instead of planted in the substrate.
