Plecos are armoured catfish from South America, many of them identified by L-numbers. Our selection includes Hypancistrus such as L236 and L136c, selectively bred Ancistrus L144 varieties, Panaque armbrusteri L27B, the blue-eye Panaque suttonorum and Leporacanthicus triactis (L91).

Plecos range from small Hypancistrus that stay under 15 cm to large Panaque that need big tanks and plenty of wood to rasp on. Check the adult size and diet on each product page, as some are mainly carnivorous and others need vegetables and wood in their diet.
