Name: Centromochlus orca (Orca Wood Catfish)
A small driftwood catfish (family Auchenipteridae) from the Rio Nhamundá area of the Brazilian Amazon. Its black body with white spots and blotches resembles the markings of an orca, which gives the species its name. It is nocturnal and spends the day hidden in driftwood, roots and leaf litter, so provide plenty of wood and shaded hiding places. It feeds mainly on small insects and crustaceans and does best with small, peaceful tankmates.
