Name: Pterophyllum altum (Rio Icana Altum Angelfish)
The altum is the tallest of the angelfish, with its long dorsal and anal fins giving a body much taller than it is long. These are wild fish from the Rio Içana, a blackwater tributary of the upper Rio Negro that rises in Colombia and runs along part of the Colombia-Brazil border. Altums live in groups among submerged roots and vegetation, and do best in a group, in a tall tank with soft, acidic, warm water kept stable.
