Singapore Shrimp Competition 2025

The Singapore Shrimp Competition 2025 has come to an end. I’m very grateful to the co-organisers who helped make the event a success. Special thanks to Shrimphub and East Ocean Aquatics — without them, this amazing event wouldn’t have been possible.

The end of the show means the competition results are out, and I’m honored to announce them on our site. This year, we welcomed participants from all over Asia, and I’m proud to say that the standard of shrimp keeping in Singapore has improved significantly. Before I announced the winners, here are the judges who have worked hard to scrutinize every shrimp and grade them individually.

From left to right, UJ Shrimp, Wong Demin(MADSHRIMP), Lawrence Lee(Shrimphub), Lee Xiao Jie(Sanko Fish Farm).

The following categories were open for competition.

Neocaridina
Fire Red
Rili
Super Blue

Caridina
Blue Bolt
Red Stardust
Black Stardust
Black Fancy Tiger
Red Fancy Tiger
Black/Red King Kong
Crystal Red Mosura

Here are the winners for this year's competition!

Last but not least, the Grand Champion is picked from the pool of 1st placing, and the one that scored the highest point would be the Red Stardust from Handsome Shrimp! Crazy spots with full fishbone. The legs are extremely solid with an even base color.

Happy man with his happy prize. @Handsome.shrimp is a Korean shrimp breeder who is very dedicated to this hobby. He is always ready to share about shrimp keeping. Link to his instagram above.

It was a fulfilling event, and we hope to see even more fellow hobbyists join us for the next one! Staying true to our passion is never easy, but I’m glad we managed to bring together different companies and simply share our love for shrimp together. Here are more photos from the event.

Eric Tan bagging up these trophies. Why win one when you can win it all?

The only place you can judge without being judged.

We couldn’t just let a fellow shrimp enthusiast who flew nearly 4,000 km sit on the sidelines, so we invited him to be a guest presenter during the PRL prize presentation. Color Shrimp from Australia with Zhou Weihan.
